We Are Disciples

Volunteer Vincent Salazar (right) helps a team with the United Methodist Committee on Relief in Manila as they load bags of relief supplies for survivors of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

United Methodists are disciples of Jesus Christ who continue to heed the lessons John Wesley taught his followers: to live lovingly and justly as servants of Christ by healing the sick, feeding the hungry, caring for the stranger, freeing the oppressed; being a compassionate presence, and working to develop social structures that are consistent with the gospel.

How We Serve

Volunteer Mission Opportunities

By volunteering to serve, every person in the church has the opportunity to serve and to live their calling more faithfully.
